The 34th Liga I day, crucial !
The final chapther
The Liga I 34th matchday. If FC Vaslui wins at Steaua, they are 100% champions, if they draw and CFR Cluj wins against Astra, CFR are the new title champions. The only way for Steaua Bucharest to win the title, is if they beat Vaslui, and CFR Cluj trips against Astra and fail to win.
Don't be pushed by your problems. Be led by your dreams.

My biggest concern at the moment is very complex. It isn't that I can't see the solution, it's that I can't see the problem at the club.
Adrian Ropotan is the latest squad addition at Steaua Bucharest. Ropotan played in his career until joining Steaua for Dinamo Moscow, Dinamo Bucharest and a short period on loan at Rapid Bucharest.

Financial happiness

A romanian football team is not one that can get big money from gate receipts or season tickets, as you can see below.

Steaua after 30 months with Tudor

Andrej Kramaric is the best poacher in my squad at the moment. He arrived from Dinamo Zagreb on 23.02.2011 for the amount 1.4 mil. euros. He is one of the most wanted players at Steaua and more than sure he will have the chance to play for one of the best teams in Europe.
Dzimitry Verkhovtsov is the rock at the back of the Steaua defense, he arrived at Steaua from belarus side Naftan in 25.10.2012 for 700k euros. With his fantastic heading ability he is also a threat at the teams corners.
Ivo Pekalski is the playmaker in the middle of the park for my team. Always putting in a more than decent performance, Pekalski is the youngster from Malmo who makes a difference on the pitch. He arrived from Malmo in 20.06.2011 for 1.5 mil. euros.

Diogo joined Steaua on 18.03.2012 on a free transfer. The brazilian’s performances are at the moment a joy to watch for the clubs fans. Dorian Dervite arrived at the club also on a free transfer 1.7.2012. He is a very sure and secure defender, doing his job without any problems. Pantelis Kapetanos is the man, the target man. The greek international is a very strong striker, his goals beeing more than useful for Steaua.
Below we have the Steaua squad at the middle of the 3rd season. The only player that is not posted here is Adrian Ropotan, the defensive midfielder who just signed for the club a couple of days ago.Trying to make it 3 in a row
The league battle is far from over, even if I am just 3rd in the standings, 7 points behind FC Vaslui’s Lopez Caro. With a possible of a maximum of 45 points left, all is possible.

The first half of the season was sensational, because of the two thrashing of local rivals, Rapid (4-0 at Ghencea Stadium) and Dinamo (4-0 at Dinamo Stadium).

The UEFA Champions League is the competitions were everything is perfect until the group stage. I’m not saying playing in the group stage is a bad thing (TV rights and prize money are very important for the club finances), but there is a very big difference between a club from

This year I am proud to present one of the future stars of the football world, Ramiro Vitorino, 17 years who plays both AMC and ST. He joined us from Sporting Lisboa for an outstanding 5 mil. euros. Also two former Serie A players Paolo Sammarco and Manuele Blasi joined the club being formerly released by their clubs.

Adrian Mutu and Mihăița Neșu are back to play in

Romeo Surdu left to OB Odense in Denmark for 3,9 mil., Marius Bilașco to FC Midtjylland also in Denmark for 1,2 mil. and Dieguinho to Standard

Second season as Steaua manager
Another great season performance in the Liga I allowed me to go and secure the title in front of rivals,

Steaua in FM 11

Who is FC Steaua Bucharest ?
Fotbal Club Steaua Bucureşti is a Romanian professional football club in Bucharest. They are the most successful Romanian football team in European competitions as well in the Romanian Liga I (23 championship wins). They became the first Eastern European team to win the UEFA Champions League being victorious in the 1986 European Cup Final.
The club is historically known as the Romanian Army sports club. The football department separated, however, in 1998. At the moment, its only direct link to the Army is their home ground, Ghencea Stadium, property of the Ministry of National Defense.
Steaua was founded on 7 June 1947, at the initiative of several officers of the Romanian Royal House. The establishment took place following a decree signed by General Mihai Lascăr, High Commander of the Romanian Royal Army. The club's first name was ASA Bucureşti (Asociaţia Sportivă a Armatei Bucureşti – Army Sports Association). It was formed as a sports society with seven initial sections, including football, coached by Coloman Braun-Bogdan. ASA was renamed CSCA (Clubul Sportiv Central al Armatei –Central Sports Club of the Army) in 1948 and CCA (Casa Centrală a Armatei – Central House of the Army) in 1950.
Steaua currently boasts itself with the most impressive pedigree in Romania. With 60 seasons spent in Liga I, they are one of the three teams to have played only in the first national league, along with Dinamo Buc. (59 seasons). At the same time, the club is the current record holder for the number of national championships (23), romanian cups (20) and national super cups (five). Internationally, they are the only domestic club to have won a European Cup (European Champions Cup in 1986 and the European SuperCup in 1987) and to have qualified inside a UEFA final (European Champions Cup in 1986 and 1989).
For three years and three months (June 1986 – September 1989), Steaua counted a number of 104 unbeaten matches in the league, establishing, at that moment, a former world record and a European one still standing. Also inside the national league, they counted 112 matches between November 1989 and August 1996 of unbeatability at Ghencea Stadium in Liga I. Their run of 17 straight wins in 1988 is another record, equal to the one held by Dinamo as of one year later.
Tudorel Stoica is the player with the most appearances for Steaua in Liga I, a record unlikely to be broken in the nearby future, as none of the current players have entered the top 10 so far. The club's all-time top scorer in the league is Anghel Iordănescu with 146 goals, a record that also looks solid, out of the same reason as above-mentioned. Other records are currently owned by former players such as Dorinel Munteanu (most national caps – 134) or Gh.Hagi (most goals scored for Romania – 35; most appearances of a Romanian player in the European cups – 93).

Writing brake over
After a very long time without any news about the progress of my teams I am glad to announce that I am back in business. After some fantastic adventures in the Football Manager 2010 game with AC Milan, Benfica,
For the moment I will be still bringing news on the good old Football Manager 10, with the neighbors of
