Dušan Kuciak was part of Zilina youth academy, where he was an exponential player for his side. Aged 16, he signed his first contract with the Slovak Supeliga side AS Trencin. He arrived at Steaua from Vaslui after being released on a free.
On 26 May 2008 Ciprian signed a five-year contract with Steaua Bucharest, with a reported transfer fee of around 1,500,000 euros, but he was loaned back to Gloria Bistrita for the 2008/09 season, because he had no chance to play for Steaua while Robinson Zapata was still there.

João Pedro do Espírito Santo Gonçalves (born 18 January 1988 in Amadora) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Steaua Bucharest, a right defender from Sporting Lisboa youth academy.

Mihai Mircea Nesu signed his first professional contract in 2001 with Steaua, after the club paid 6.000 dollars for his. He debuted on April 2002 in a game against Petrolul which was ended 1-1.
