AC Milan, the 3rd season (2011/12)

After two outstanding seasons at the club, period in which I managed to win many leagues and cups, Serie A in 2010 and 2011, Coppa Italia in 2010, UEFA Champions League in 2010, European Super Cup in 2010, Club World Championship in 2010 and Italian Super Cup in 2010.

The season started with an additional trophy on the table, the 2011 Italian Super Cup match, against local rivals, FC Internazionale Milano.

It all ended very well, thanks to the extra time goal from the new arrival player at the club, Frank Ribery ! The man of the match was experienced midfielder Andrea Pirlo 8.4, followed very close by Alexandre Pato 8.3. With this Super Cup, I have 8 trophies, 2 leagues and 6 cups.

Below I posted this season’s transfers, most noticeable are the ones of Frank Ribery from Bayern (free transfer) to compete with Ronaldinho and Gourcuff for the AMC position, Marco Motta from Udinese (15,000,000 euros), Domenico Criscito from Juventus (11,000,000 euros) and Cheik M’Bengue from Toulouse (17,000,000 euros) to strengthen the full backs, plus in the winter, the super transfer of Brazilian international Sandro from Ajax Amsterdam (27,000,000 euros).

It wasn’t only a signing madness, but also a time for some players to say goodbye to us. Special thanks to Clarence Seedorf (contract end), Luca Antonini to Fulham (9,000,000 euros), Gianluca Zambrotta to Bari (500,000 euros), Alessandro Nesta (500,000 euros), Alberto Paloschi to Bari (5,000,000 euros).
